About the position 

As a senior developer in Admincontrol your daily tasks will consist of delivering high quality code, assisting developers across teams and conducting code reviews. Good communication is required as you will be involved in discussions with Product Owners, Testers, UX designers and fellow developers. You will also participate in discussions related to tech-stack decisions. 

Our SaaS platform is based on a Microsoft stack. On the client-side we are making use of front-end technologies like jQuery, HTML5 and Angular JS. We are in the process of migrating our front-end solution to Angular and new projects are built on .NET Core. Both our Web and Mobile Applications are complimented with various APIs and services. Microsoft Visual Studio is our main development IDE. We deliver a highly secure platform, with equal levels of quality, performance, and usability. 

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Analyze, design, code and verify web applications, throughout the production lifecycle.
  • Implement clean code, applying engineering best practices and keep performance, security, availability, reliability, and consistency in mind.   
  • Collaborate with the team of Software developers, Product Owners, UX designers, Test engineers and Architects, to create the best solutions for our users. 
  • Deliver committed user stories with high quality. 
  • Continuously work to increase competence on tools, technologies, and techniques. 
  • Develop and maintain clean and effective code by refactoring when needed and ensure your code, incl tests are ready for change. 
  • Use agile methodologies, participate in daily scrum meetings, as well as planning, review and retrospectives.  

Skills and experience 

  • MS degree in Computer Science with minimum of 5 years of development experience. 
  • Excellent understanding of Web applications. 
  • .NET C# programming skills – writing solid, maintainable, and efficient code. 
  • Angular.js / Angular and general JavaScript skills, CSS and HTML. 
  • Understanding Agile software development process. 
  • Responsive design. 
  • Solid experience with security implementations in all aspects of software delivery process. 
  • Experience with Jira, TeamCity, Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy. 
  • Detailed understanding of team dynamics throughout software development lifecycle processes including agile & lean development. 
  • Ability to work in a flexible environment that values innovation.

  • Must be well organized, accurate and detail oriented. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical staff. 
  • Ability to work in complex code bases written by others. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously. 
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills. 
  • Maintains a positive and results-oriented attitude. 
  • Embodies curiosity and are eager to learn and convert knowledge into reality.
